Bridge Builders

THE BRIDGE BUILDERS PROGRAM

The idea of Bridge Builders came from Marshall Tyson, CEO of the United Way of Northeast Kentucky and it puts boots on the ground in our schools and community through student volunteerism. This new initiative instills six pillars of support in areas the council saw needing addressed. The pillars represent the Social Determinants of Health, and we want our community to overcome barriers through our support. Bridge Builders Youth volunteer in the community and bridge gaps that they see through education, insight, and the want to UNITE their community.
