Four Partners.
One Community.
Real Change.

Every gift to United Way of Northeast Kentucky goes to work through trusted partner programs meeting our neighbors' most urgent needs meal by meal, family by family.

United Way of Northeast Kentucky doesn't run programs alone we invest in the people already doing the work. Across Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Lawrence, and Greenup counties, our partner programs show up every day for neighbors facing hunger, isolation, poverty, and trauma. Here are four of them we have partnered with to make the most impact with our funding.

ASHLAND COMMUNITY KITCHEN LOGO

Ashland Community Kitchen

Since 1982, Ashland Community Kitchen has made sure no one in our community goes hungry. What started as three lunches a week at a local church has grown into a daily lifeline serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner free of charge, more than 150 meals a day and over 5,000 meals a month. A monthly food pantry extends that support further, providing food boxes to seniors and families in need. For many, it's the one guaranteed meal of the day.

HILLCREST BRUCE MISSION LOGO

Hillcrest-Bruce Mission

Hillcrest-Bruce Mission has spent more than 50 years working to break the cycle of generational poverty in Ashland. Its approach meets people where they are: a food and clothing pantry for basic needs, a Healthy Living program covering vision, dental, and hearing care, and career services including GED classes, tutoring, financial literacy, and job placement support. It's a place where getting help today becomes the first step toward stability tomorrow.

ASHLAND SENIOR CENTER LOGO IN BLUE

Ashland Senior Center

Also known as the Boyd County Council on Aging, the Ashland Senior Center gives older adults in our community a place to stay active, connected, and cared for. Congregate meals, social activities, recreation and exercise programs, and transportation service mean that age or mobility never has to mean isolation. For many seniors, it's as much about companionship as it is about the meal on the table.

HOPES PLACE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER LOGO

Hope's Place Child Advocacy Center

When a child has experienced abuse, Hope's Place is there to help them heal. This children's advocacy center provides forensic interviews, specialized medical exams, and trauma-focused counseling, all at no cost to the families who need it, in a setting built around a child's safety and dignity. Serving families across Kentucky and Ohio, Hope's Place turns one of the hardest days in a family's life into the start of recovery.

These four organizations are just part of the network your United Way gift supports. When you give, you're not funding one program you are funding an entire community's safety net.
